OnLive.co.uk have officially dropped the biggest gaming bombshell this year, my long serving Xbox 360 Elite has now been placed on GumTree and I’m ready to enter the world of streaming games.
Its hard to explain exactly how this works, but in short (as mentioned in the video above) you sign up (which is free) then download the app for your computer, ipad, iphone etc (which is also free) then you can play console level games via online streaming.
Its unbelievable until you have tried it yourself, I was thinking ‘My Macbook Pro is a few years old now, it won’t be able to play this new Batman game’ but I was happily proved very wrong. Add to that games like the brand new Assassin’s Creed, new Saints Row etc (with free trials) and this has by far become my fav non music related app this year.
Oh yeah…and not only do the games not have to download or install anywhere, but the loading times are fast as hell…AND…you can also save your games onto your online account, go to your mates house, connect via wifi with your Laptop, iPhone, iPad etc and continue where you left off…
Don’t understand it yet? just try it…its amazing, and getting more an more games each month…try it and you’ll preview what Apple plan to have built into their TV’s that will be launching next year…bye bye consoles, hello streaming.

Just goes to show, you can have 4 of you in a band laced with fancy dance moves, or all the latest computer equipment etc…sometimes all it takes is one underdog, a guitar and something worth saying.
